High School:  Graduate of Bellevue West High School... two-year starter in football and also starts in basketball and track and field…had 77 tackles as a senior with nine tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks helping Thunderbirds to 7-4 record and Class A state quarterfinals…earned Class A All-State honorable mention honors…as a junior played running back and gained 657 yards on 104 carries (6.3 avg) with 10 TD's…averaged 4.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in basketball, helping Bellevue West to 18-7 record in junior season and trip to Class A State Tournament…in track and field was a three-time Class A state qualifier in the discus and shot put...was Class A runner up in discus as a senior at 181' 10" while also placing 11th in shot put (50' 3").
