Before Wayne State:  Played one season at Waldorf University...recorded 24 tackles in 10 games played with 13 solo stops, three tackles for loss and one interception return (17 yds) for touchdown at Morningside...had season-high nine tackles vs. Briar Cliff.

High School:  Graduate of Martin Luther High School in Wisconsin...earned All-Metro Classic Conference Second Team honors at defensive back as a junior and senior and was All-Conference Second Team in wrestling.

Personal:  Parents are John and Britney Mattox...born September 27, 2006...majoring in sport management.
