2013:  Appeared in four games as a backup linebacker, credited with five tackles on the season...had four solo tackles and one tackle for loss for six yards at Northern State (9-7-13)...also had one tackle at Winona State (10-19-13).

Before Wayne State: Was a walk-on at the University of Iowa for one season before transfering to Wayne State.

High School: Graduate of Sioux City Heelan HS where he earned First Team All-State honors in football as a junior and senior while also being named All-Western Iowa both seasons...was named First Team All-District during junior and senior years while being named All-Metro and All-Northwest Iowa as a senior...holds school records for most tackles in a season and in a career...notched 182 tackles as a senior to go with two interceptions...had 193 tackles and an interception as a junior and recorded 26 tackles as a sophomore...helped lead his team to four straight state playoff appearances including a trip to the state championship game as a junior.
