High School:  Graduate of Carlisle High School in Iowa...two-year starter in football, four years in wrestling and two in soccer...rushed for 1,538 yards (7.3 avg) and 21 TD's and was the Class 4A state leader in tackles with 110 (92 solo) while recording 7.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss to lead Carlisle to 10-2 record and Class 4A state semi-finals...named First Team All-State and All-District and voted District Defensive Player of the Year...earned All-District Second Team as a junior with 40.5 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss...earned Academic All-State honors in football during senior season.
