2021: Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School:  Graduate of Bettendorf High School in Iowa...two year starter in football while also starting in basketball and track and field at Bettendorf HS…earned All-Mississippi Athletic Conference honors in football during senior season with nine catches for 95 yards at tight end…also averaged 33.6 yards on 18 punts and had one kick return for 37 yards…during junior season made 11 receptions for 208 yards (18.9 avg)…elected team captain in football and basketball and member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Son of Dick and Kaarin Bakeris...born June 6, 2003... majoring in criminal justice.
