2008: Named NSIC South Division Second Team All-Conference Defense after finishing sixth on the Wildcat defense with 52 tackles and eight sacks...ranked second in the NSIC with eight sacks and tied for third in the NSIC with three fumbles forced...had 23 solo and 29 assisted tackles with 9.5 tackles for loss...had season-high seven tackles at Nebraska-Kearney on 8-30-08 and vs. Minnesota State on 9-20-08...had five tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble at Southwest Minnesota State on 9-27-08...had four tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble vs. Concordia, St. Paul on 11-1-08 in Egg Bowl...one of eight WSC players named to the 2008 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2007: Started all 12 games on the defensive line for the Wildcats...Made 68 total tackles (32 solo), 16 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks, four fumbles forced, two fumble recoveries and one interception on the season...Named Nebraska NCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Week on 10-9-07 for his 11 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery effort in the 26-24 win at Northern State on 10-6-07...On 10-15-07 was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week and also Nebraska NCAA Division II Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his career-high 13 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the 24-21 comeback victory at Bemidji State on 10-13-07...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team for the second straight season.
2006: Appeared in all 11 games at backup defensive end for the Wildcats, recording 20 total tackles with seven solo and 13 assisted stops....finished with four sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery....had season-high six tackles with two sacks and one forced fumble vs. Missouri-Rolla on 11-4-06. Selected to the 2006 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2005: Played in eight games as a true freshman as a backup defensive end and special teams player. Had three solo tackles and four assisted tackles.
High School: Tyler was a four-year starter at Pierce High School and named to the Class C-1 All State First Team as a junior and senior...Was a three-time All District selection and team MVP during his senior season...Excelled in basketball and track at Pierce, receiving honorable mention all-state honors in basketball as a junior and placed seventh in the discus at the state track meet... Krueger was also a member of the National Honor Society and an Academic All State selection in football and basketball.
