Wayne State College

2014:  Ranked 10th on the Wildcat defense in total tackles with 31 while playing in 10 games with seven starts at middle linebacker...had season-high six tackles and one tackle for loss at St. Cloud State (9/13/14)...made four tackles with one interception vs. Bemidji State (9/6/14)...had two solo tackles and one forced fumble vs. Augustana (10/18/14)...credited with four tackles and one breakup at Minot State (9/27/14).

2013:  Started all 11 games at will linebacker and finished fifth on the Wildcat defense with 54 total tackles...had 4.0 tackles for loss (12 yds), 1.5 sacks (four yds), one interception for 10 yards, three breakups and two quarterback hurries...recorded season-high nine tackles with two tackles for loss and one breakup at Northern State (9-7-13)...credited with six tackles, two breakups and one sack vs. Minnesota Duluth (9-28-13)...had six tackles with one interception and 10 return yards at Minnesota Crookston (9-21-13).

2012: Played in seven games at fullback for Wayne State during the season...had two carries for five yards and two receptions for 20 yards...had a season best game at MSU Moorhead in the season opener with one carry for three yards and one reception for 15 yards.

2011: Appeared in six games for the Wildcats during the season...had 18 tackles with eight solo and 10 assisted with an assisted tackle for loss and an assisted sack...recorded 13 tackles with six solo and seven assisted on 10/15/11 at Concordia-St. Paul.

Before Wayne State: Redshirted one season at Nebraska (2010-11)

High School: Graduate of Norfolk High School...was a First Team All-Nebraska and Super State selection as a senior in high school at linebacker...had four interceptions, one sack and 29 tackles as a senior, helping Norfolk to a 7-4 record and the Class A quarterfinals...also rushed for 514 yards and four TD's as a fullback and caught 15 passes for 215 yards with one score...was also a three year starter in soccer, earning All-Conference honors in 2007 and 2008.

Personal: Son of David and Lisa McGill...born on May 21, 1992...majoring in criminal justice with a minor in sociology.
