High School:  Graduate of Linn-Mar High School in Iowa...three-year starter for the Lions....averaged 10.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, shooting 48 percent from the field in helping team to 22-3 record (14-0 in Mississippi Valley Conference) and state semi-finals in Class 4A...earned Class 4A Third Team All-State honors from Iowa Print/Sports Writers Association as a senior to go with All-Metro and All-Mississippi Valley Conference First Team honors...during junior season produced 10.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per contest and shot 85 percent from the free throw line to receive All-Metro Conference First Team and All-MVC Second Team recognition...had a 40-point game in junior season with nine 3-pointers that tied school record held by former Iowa Hawkeye Jordan Bohanon...was a three-time All-Conference Academic Team selection and earned the Iowa Bankers Association Student Athlete Achievement Award.
