High School: Graduate of Martin County West High School in Minnesota...four year starter in football and basketball and three years in baseball...averaged 23.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game during senior season, shooting 57 percent from 2 point range and 84 percent at the free throw line...named Fairmont Sentinel Player of the Year as a junior and senior...finished high school career with 1,993 points and 922 rebounds...set single game school record for points in a game (45) and points in a season (677)...ended career as a four time All-Valley Conference and Sentinel All-Area Selection...as a junior averaged 18.9 points, eight rebounds and three assists per game leading the Mavericks to a 23-5 record and the Valley Conference basketball title...earned Academic All-State and All-Valley Conference honors.
