2025:  Competed in all six events, finishing as #1 Wildcat runner at three meets and #2 runner at the other three...had second-place finish at Wildcat Classic (9/26/25) with time of 13:48.9 on heat-shortened 4,200-meter course...was top WSC runner at Dordt Classic (10/11/25) in time of 26:11.2 on 8,000-meter course...crossed finish line first for WSC at the NSIC Championship in Wayne (10/24/25) in time of 26:51.4...had career-best 10,000-meter time of 33:53.3 at season-ending NCAA Central Region Championship in Joplin, Mo. November 8th.  

2024:  Was #3 WSC runner at all six meets...finished 16th overall at WSC Wildcat Invite (9/28/24) with time of 28:25.9...ran season-best time on 8,000-meter course of 25:37.5 at NSIC Championships in Minot, North Dakota (10/26/24)...ended season with 10,000-meter time of 33:55.1 at NCAA Central Region Championships in Joplin, Mo. (11/9/24).

Before Wayne State:  Attended Indian Hills Community College in Iowa for two years...was a NJCAA national qualifier in cross country in 2023 (74th/26:28.6) in 8,000-meters...placed 14th at regional meet (27:14.55) and was voted ICCAC All-Conference Second Team and NJCAA All-Region Honorable Mention...named Academic All-Region and All-Conference Second Team both seasons.

High School:  Graduate of Norwalk High School in Iowa...was a two-time state qualifier in cross country and three-time state qualifier and state medalist in track and field.

Personal:  Son of Adam and Andrea Lucas...born August 7, 2003...majoring in sports medicine and exercise science.
