2019:  Ran at all six meets and was #1 WSC runner in four meets...took ninth place at Wildcat Classic (9/27/19) with time of 27:30.8) and was 14th at Dakota State/Herb Blakely Invite in Sioux Center, Iowa at 27:30...also top WSC runner at Augustana Twilight and Briar Cliff Invite, taking 41st overall at Briar Cliff with season-best 5,000-meter time of 27:08.5...received NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors.

2018: Was top runner at all seven meets for Wayne State while recording four top-20 finishes...took 3rd at Wildcat Classic with time of 26:58...was 12th at Briar Cliff Invite with season best 8,000 meter time of 26:08...was 13th at UNL Woody Greeno Invite (27:30) and 18th at Mount Marty Invite (26:30).

Before Wayne State: Attended Mesa Community College for two years...named most improved runner in 2017 and was a National Qualifier in 2016 and 2017...earned All-ACCAC Third Team Honors in Cross Country in 2017.

High School: Graduate of Apache Junction High School in Arizona...four year letter winner and starter in cross country...was a three year state qualifier and captain...named most valuable runner as a sophomore and junior and received All-Section Honors in 2014 and 2015.

Personal: Son of Mark and Lynda Kessler...born May 19, 1998...majoring in sport management.
