2022: Finished in four meets this season...placed 27th at Wildcat Classic (9/23/22) with time 29:29.5...ran season best time of 27:01.8 to finish 62nd at Dordt Defender Classic (10/8/22)...finished 102nd at NSIC Championships in Wayne (11/5/22) at 28:44.6.

2021:  Participated in five meets during season and was #3 WSC runner in three events...was 13th at WSC Wildcat Classic (9/24/21) in time of 28:20...season-best time on 8,000-meter course was 27:29 to place 37th overall at Dordt University Classic (10/9/21)...was #3 WSC runner at NCAA Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri (11/6/21) with time of 33:44 on 10,000-meter course.

High School:  Graduate of Omaha Skutt Catholic High School...in cross country, was a three-time Class B state medalist that included state champion as a senior with a time of 16:21...ran on three straight Class B state champion teams from Skutt Catholic and earned Super State Cross Country honors as a senior...also finished seventh in Class B as a junior and 12^th as a sophomore.  In track and field, Richards captured a third place medal in the 3,200-meter run (10:03) as a senior and was 11^th in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 4:37...was also an Academic All-Conference honoree in both sports.
