2021 Outdoor:  Placed third in shot put at NSIC Outdoor Championships in shot put with mark of 55' 7" to earn All-NSIC honors...broke his own school record in the shot put at Central Nebraska UNK Challenge (4/3/21) placing third at 56' 1 1/4"...placed second at season-opening Wildcat Classic (3/27/21) in shot put at 52' 2 1/2"...finished sixth in shot put at Drake Relays (4/23/21) with mark of 51' 9 3/4"...was third in shot put at WSC Challenge (5/1/21) at 53' 7 3/4"...earned NSIC Spring All-Academic honors.

2021 Indoor: Earned All-NSIC Honors with a third place finish in the shot put at the NSIC Indoor Championships at 52' 3 3/4"...posted a sixth place finish in the shot put at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/20/21) with mark of 51' 10 1/2"...repeat selection to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2020 Outdoor:  Named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2020 Indoor:  Just missed a medal in shot put at NSIC Indoor Championships, placing ninth with mark of 48 3/4"...threw season-best mark of 51' 8 1/2" to place first in shot put at SDSU Division II Invite (1/24/20)...finished sixth in shot put at Minnesota State Open (2/1/20) with throw of 49' 7 3/4"...named to NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2019 Outdoor: Earned All-NSIC Honors in shot put with new school record of 54' 5 1/4'' to place third at NSIC Outdoor Championships (5/10/19)...took first in the shot put at the Concordia Blizzard Buster (4/26/19) with mark of 51' 11 1/4''...finished third at Nebraska Invite (5/4/19) with mark of 53' 9 1/4''.

2019 Indoor: Recorded fifth-place finish in the shot put at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/23/19) with mark of 51' 1/4''...took first in shot put at Ward Haylett Invite (1/12/19) with mark of 50' 8''...threw season-best 52' 1'' at SDSU Division II Invite (2/15/19) to place third.

2018 Indoor/Outdoor: Redshirted.

Before Wayne State: Attended Nebraska Wesleyan for one year and competed in football and track and field...placed second in the shot put at the Iowa Conference Outdoor Championships last month with a top mark of 50’ 2 ¾” and was second at the Nebraska Invitational with a season-best throw of 51’ 8 ½”. 

High School: Graduate of Ainsworth High School...Allen was a Class C state qualifier in the shot put all four years and three years in the discus, collecting five state medals...as a senior in 2016, was fifth in the shot put (53’ 8 ½”) and seventh in the discus (150’ 0”)...Allen was fifth in the shot put as a junior (50’ 7 ½”) and was third during his sophomore season (53’ 1 ½”) while also placing eighth in the discus as a sophomore... also helped Ainsworth win four straight district titles in high school and placed no worse than eighth at state in Class C as a team.
