High School:  Graduate of West Holt High School...four-year starter and letter winner in track and field and one year in powerlifting...was a Class C state qualifier in shot put (17th-48' 9") and discus (18th - 143' 8") as a senior.

Personal:  Son of Joshua Steskal and Erin Griess...born October 17, 2007...majoring in industrial technology.
