2022 Outdoor: Competed in seven meets in throwing events...qualified for both the hammer throw and shot put at the NSIC Outdoor Championships posting a mark of 40' 2 3/4" in the shot put and having a foul in the hammer throw...finished 11th in the shot put with a distance of 40' 9" and also posted a season-best 145' 3" mark in the hammer throw at the Prairie Wolf Invite (4/28/22).
2022 Indoor: Competed in five meets...placed eighth in the shot put with a distance of 42' 6" and 10th in the weight throw with a mark of 41' 4 3/4" at the Lancer Last Chance (2/12/22)...had a season-best 42' 9 3/4" in the shot put placing 14th at the USD Alumni Track & Field Meet (2/5/22)...recorded a season-best mark of 41' 4 1/2" in the weight throw at the Mark Schuck Open & Multi (1/28-29/22).
High School: Graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School...was a Class B qualifier in the shot put as a senior, placing 10
th at 50’ 1”...was also a state qualifier in the shot put as a sophomore in 2019...a three-year starter on the football team where he earned Class B All-State First Team honors as a senior at offensive line and had 67 tackles with six sacks and five forced fumbles with 11 tackles for loss while helping the Vikings reach the state playoffs all four years in high school...personal bests include 50’ 1 ¼” in the shot put and 130’ 0” in the discus.
