2018 Outdoor: Was NSIC champion in decathlon with new school record point total of 6,951 points...also set new school records in the javelin (186' 6") during the NSIC decathlon and in the long jump with a first place mark of 24' 7 1/4" at the Fort Hays State Classic (3/30/18)...was NCAA national qualifier in the decathlon but suffered injury after first event (100-meter dash) on 5/24/18 in Charlotte, N.C...also earned All-NSIC honors in two other events at NSIC Championships - third in the javelin (176' 5") and third in the long jump (23' 10 1/4") and ran leg on fourth place 4 x 100 meter relay team (42.23)...named Cunningham Scholar Male Athlete of the Year and was voted to the Google Cloud Academic All-District VII First Team to go with NSIC Spring All-Academic honors.
2018 Indoor: Earned All-NSIC honors in two events, winning the long jump with a mark of 23' 8 1/4" while placing second in the NSIC heptathlon with 5,063 points...also ran leg on 4 x 400 meter relay team that placed third with time of 3:22.06...placed third in the long jump at SDSU Holiday Open with mark of 23' 8 1/4"...repeat selection to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2017 Outdoor: Recorded fifth place finish in the javelin throw with mark of 168' 2" at NSIC Outdoor Championships, a season-best mark...placed second in the long jump (21' 8 3/4") and ninth in the javelin (153' 2") at the Sioux City Relays on 4/21/17...finished second in the javelin at the Wildcat Classic (3/26/17) with mark of 154' 10"...received CoSIDA Academic All-District VII First Team honors and was later named Third Team Academic All-American with a 3.91 grade point average majoring in chemistry and health science...was selected to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2017 Indoor: Scored points in three events at NSIC Indoor Championships...was All-NSIC performer with third place finish in heptathlon at 4,970 points, placed fourth in the long jump (23' 6 3/4") and was fifth in the triple jump (47' 3 3/4")...received USTFCCCA All-Region honors in heptathlon, placing in top five in the Central Region...took second in the heptathlon at Minnesota State Open (1/28/17) with 4,966 points...had pair of second place finishes at the SDSU Holiday Open (12/3/16) in the long jump (22' 11 3/4") and triple jump (46' 8")...named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VII First Team and selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2015 Outdoor: Earned All-NSIC honors in two events while being a part of two new school records at the NSIC Outdoor Championships (5/9/15)...placed second in the NSIC decathlon with new school record point total of 6,638 points and ran anchor leg on 4 x 100 relay team that set new school record of 41.43 seconds to place second overall...also placed fourth in the long jump (23' 2 3/4") and just missed placing with a ninth place finish in the triple jump (46' 9 1/2") at the NSIC Championships...also excels in the classroom, named to the Capital One Academic All-District VII Men's Track and Field Team with a 3.98 grade point average majoring in chemistry/health science and was selected to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.
2015 Indoor: Scored points in four events at the NSIC Indoor Championships (2/27/150 in Mankato...had fourth place finish in the heptathlon scoring 4,658 points, an NCAA provisional mark...also finished sixth in the triple jump (45' 8 1/2") and seventh in the long jump (22' 9") and ran leg on seventh place 4 x 400 meter relay team (3:24.36)...took first in the triple jump at Wildcat Classic (1/31/15) with season-best mark of 46' 4 1/4"...named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2014 Outdoor: Placed in two events at the NSIC Outdoor Championships, taking sixth in the triple jump (45' 4 1/4") while running a leg on the 4 x 400 relay team that was sixth in a new school record time of 3:18.94...also finished 11th in the javelin (153' 10") and competed in the long jump...season-best marks included 21' 4 1/4" in the long jump at the Sioux City Relays (4/12/14), 22.90 seconds in the 200 meter dash at the Prairie Wolf Invite (4/18/14) and 50.46 seconds in 400 meter dash at Howard Wood Dakota Relays (5/3/14).
2014 Indoor: Scored points in three events at NSIC Indoor Championships in Bemidji, Minnesota on 2/28 and 3/1/14...finished fourth in the long jump (22' 5"), seventh in the triple jump (45' 4 1/4") and ran third leg on 4 x 400 meter relay team that placed fourth in 3:23.88...had season-best marks of 22' 6 1/2" and 46' 3/4" to win the long jump and take second in the triple jump at the Wildcat Open on 1/25/14.
High School: Graduate of Scotus Central Catholic High School in Columbus...competed in track and field, football and basketball...was a three-time Class B medal winner in the triple jump, including a gold medal in 2013 as a senior with winning jump of 44' 10 3/4"...was seventh in 2012 (42' 9 1/4") and eighth as a sophomore in 2011 (42' 2 1/2")...helped Columbus Scotus win Class B District title in 2012...career-best marks in high school include 22' 1 1/2" in the long jump and 44' 10 3/4" in the triple jump...earned Academic All-State honors in football (2010-12), basketball (2011-13) and track and field (2012-13).
