2023 Outdoor:  Had career-best mark of 50' 2 3/4" in shot put to place fourth at Sioux City Relays (4/14/23)...took first place in shot put at 49' 4 1/4" at Central Nebraska Challenge (4/1/23)...finished 12th in shot put (47' 9 1/4") and 17th in hammer throw (138' 7") at NSIC Outdoor Championships...recorded season-best mark of 149' 11" in discus at season-opening Wildcat Classic (3/25/23)...took seventh in shot put at USD Tuneup Meet (5/5/23) at 49' 3". 

2023 Indoor:  Threw season-best mark of 49' 8 1/2" in shot put to place seventh at Mark Schuck/Minnesota State Open (1/28/23)...finished 12th in shot put at NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 49' 1 3/4"...had season-best fourth place finish in shot put (48' 0") at South Dakota Kickoff Meet (1/14/23)...was fifth at Concordia Classic (2/3/23) with throw of 49' 5 1/2".

High School:  Graduate of Elk Point-Jefferson High School in South Dakota...standout thrower who will also play for the Wildcat football team as a lineman...was the South Dakota Class A state champion in the shot put (57’ 11”) and the discus (167’ 8”) as a senior...in 2019 as a sophomore, he was second place in both events at state – 54’ 1” in the shot put and 145’ 7” in the discus...also excelled in wrestling where he was a two-time state medal winner and three-time state qualifier and was a two-time All-State First Team selection in football as a lineman...personal bests for Peed include 58’ 4” in the shot put and 177’ 0” in the discus.
