High School: Graduate of Westwood High School in Iowa...started two or more years in track, football, basketball and baseball...placed in three events as a senior in Class 1A State Track Meet...was sixth in the 400 hurdles (55.53) and ran legs on third place 4 x 110 shuttle hurdle relay and 4 x 400 relay...as a junior placed third at the Class 1A State Track meet in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.40 seconds, was 12^th in the 400-meter dash (51.12) and anchored the sixth-place 800-meter sprint medley relay...in football as a senior he earned All-District Second Team honors as the team's leading receiver with 18 catches for 388 yards and four TD's while also recording 25.5 tackles with six tackles for loss on defense.
