2023 Outdoor: Ran leg on seventh place (43.05) 4 x 100-meter relay team at NSIC Outdoor Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota...recorded season-best time of 23.01 seconds in 200-meter dash to place 14th at USD Tuneup (5/5/23)...also ran 23.01 at USD Early Bird Invite (4/8/23)...received NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors and was voted College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

2022 Outdoor: Ran in sprints at eight meets...recorded season-best time of 22.74 seconds in 200-meter dash to place third and was fifth in 100-meter dash (11.11) at Prairie Wolf Invite (4/28/22)...ran leg on 4 x 100 meter relay team at NSIC Outdoor Championships (DNF)...took sixth in 100-meter dash at Wildcat Classic (3/26/22) in 11.48 seconds.
2022 Indoor: Competed in six meets...finished sixth in the 60 meter dash with a 7.31 time and ninth in the 200 with a 23.25 time at the Lancer Last Chance (2/12/22)...placed 11th in the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 23.20 at the SDSU Last Chance (2/19/22)...had a season-best time 7.30 in the 60 meter dash at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi (12/3-4/21).
High School: Graduate of Boone Central High School...was a football and track and field standout...Class B state qualifier as a senior in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash and earned All-District Second Team honors in football last fall along with Class C-1 All-State honorable mention honors while playing in the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Game this summer...Nissen’s personal bests are 10.98 in the 100 meters and 22.39 in the 200 meters.
