Kim Vidlak is in her third season (2025-26) as a graduate assistant softball coach at Wayne State College.
Vidlak is no stranger to Wildcat softball having played five years (2018-23) at Wayne State, earning All-NSIC Second Team honors three times (2021, 2022, 2023). The Millard North graduate ended her WSC career ranked third in at bats (670), fourth in hits (236), and fifth in runs scored (128), doubles (44) and triples (12). Vidlak was a two-time Most Valuable Player and earned NSIC All-Academic honors four times while being named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District as a senior in 2023.
Vidlak earned a bachelors degree from Wayne State majoring in math education and is pursuing a masters degree in curriculum and instruction/math education at Wayne State.
