Noah Roberts is in his fourth season (2025-26) on the Wildcat softball coaching staff. He served the 2023 season as a graduate assistant coach and moved up to full-time assistant coach for the 2024 season serving as pitching coach.
Roberts helped coach the Wildcats to the best turnaround in NCAA Division II softball in the 2025 season, going 31-24 overall and eighth place in the NSIC with a 14-13 league mark. WSC had a 30-win season for the first time since 2016 and won a game in the NSIC Tournament (4-3 over Southwest Minnesota State) for the first time since the 2015 season.
Roberts is a former Wildcat baseball player who spent three years in a WSC uniform. He led the 'Cats in the COVID-shortened 2020 season with a .447 batting average with five doubles and eight RBI in just 11 games. Roberts was a three-year starter for the Wildcats starting games at third base, first base, second base and designated hitter.
A native of Wichita, Kansas, Roberts began his collegiate career at Hesston College in Kansas before coming to Wayne State. He earned a bachelors degree from Wayne State in sport management and obtained a masters degree in May, 2023 in sport/organizational management.
