High School:  Graduate of Omaha Mercy High School...four-year starter in softball...led team to River City Conference title during senior season with 18-9 record, hitting .431 with 31 hits, 33 RBI, eight doubles and six home runs to earn All-Conference honors...was an All-River City Conference honorable mention selection during junior season.

Personal:  Daughter of Brian and Kristin Barnes...born September 19, 2006...majoring in exercise science.
