Biography

2026:  Played in 31 games with 26 starts at first base, batting .250 going 4 for 16 at the plate...had three RBI, scored five runs and was third on the team with 144 putouts...had two-run single vs. Quincy (Ill.) February 26th...had a single, walk and scored twice in 12-2 win vs. Point Park (Pa.) March 11th...also had RBI single in 10-0 win over Bemidji State March 21st...went 1 for 2 with a run scored vs. Queens College (NY) on March 7th...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2025:  Appeared in 13 games with four starts at designated player...was 3 for 18 at the plate with three walks and one run scored...was 1 for 3 in start at designated player at MSU Moorhead (4/6/25)...had pinch-hit single at Winona State (4/26/25) and another pinch-hit at MSU Moorhead...also walked and scored run at UMary (3/23/25).

Before Wayne State:  Attended Ball State in Indiana for two years...redshirted in 2023 season.

High School:  Graduate of Lincoln Southwest High School...three-year starter and letter winner in softball and track and field...had .405 batting average during senior season with eight homers, 53 hits and 46 RBI helping team win Class A state title with 40-6 record...recorded .394 batting average during junior season with 50 hits and 31 RBI...finished high school career with .374 batting average...named All-Heartland Athletic Conference in softball and voted to Nebraska All-Star Softball Team as a senior...in track and field, was a two-time Class A state medal winner in the discus, placing fourth as a junior (117' 1") and eighth in senior season at 110' 7"...earned Academic All-State honors in softball and track and field as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal:  Daughter of Joel and Phyllis Fritz...born February 3, 2004...majoring in exercise science.
