Before Wayne State:  Played one season at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa...averaged 13.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, shooting 40.5 percent from the field for the Panthers...helped team to best record in nearly 30 years, going 25-6...earned ICCAC/Region XI All-Region honors and was voted Most Valuable Player...named ICCAC Player of the Week twice and was Academic All-Region both semesters.

High School:  Graduate of Iowa Falls-Alden High School...four-year starter in basketball and volleyball...averaged 21.2 points and 10.6 rebounds per game as a senior to earn Iowa Class 3A All-State Second Team honors...was an All-Region and All-District selection and a three-time All-North Central Conference First Team honoree...also averaged a double-double during junior season with 18.5 points and 11.1 rebounds a contest...holds numerous school records including career points (1,469), points in a single game (42), points in a season (467), career 3-pointers (178), career field goals (460) and career free throws (371) among the 12 records broken...was also a two-time All-North Central Conference selection in volleyball...during senior season averaged 2.5 kills and 1.8 digs per set with team-leading 40 blocks.
