Biography
2008-09: Started all 28 games at forward for the Wildcats, leading WSC in scoring at 12.8 points per game to earn Second Team All-NSIC honors for the second straight season...also averaged 5.3 rebounds per game and led WSC in steals with 54 to rank fifth in the NSIC in steals per game...had 18 games of 10 or more points and five games of more than 20 points, including a season-high 27 points in 81-67 win over Bemidji State on 1-3-09...scored 26 points at Upper Iowa on 2-14-09, making season-high 11 shots from the field on 18 attempts...grabbed season-high nine rebounds at Northern State on 12-5-08...shot 35.4 percent (134-378) from the field, 29.1 percent (16-55) from the three point line and 73.7 percent (73-99) at the free throw stripe...was named the Nebraska NCAA Division II WBB Player of the Week twice during the season, on 1-6-09 and 1-20-09...averaged 22 points and 6.5 rebounds per game vs. Minn. Duluth and Bemidji State on January 2nd and 3rd, 2009 and averaged 18 points and 7.5 rebounds per game vs. Winona State and Upper Iowa on January 16th and 17th to earn Player of the Week honors.
2007-08: Earned Second Team All-NSIC honors after leading Wayne State in scoring (15.0 ppg) for the Wildcats in her first season with the club...named MVP of the Mountain Lion Women's Basketball Classic in Colorado on November 23 and 24, 2007 after scoring 28 points in win over CU-Colorado Springs on 11-23-07...had eight games of 20 or more points and scored in double figures in 26 of the 32 WSC games...had season-highs of 29 points vs. Concordia-St. Paul on 1-18-08 and 9 rebounds at Augustana College on 12-4-07...ranked 7th in the NSIC in scoring and 14th in free throw percentage (.776)...shot 44.6 percent from the field, 29.6 percent from the three point line and 77.6 percent from the free throw line...was named Nebraska NCAA Division II Player of the Week twice during the season (12-17-07 and 2-11-08).
Before Wayne State College: Played two seasons at Tyler Junior College in Texas...averaged 11.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in 2006-07 season, helping team to a 28-8 mark and a berth in the National Junior College Division I Tournament in Salina, Kansas...Cook was a two-time honorable mention All-Region XIV selection at Tyler JC.
High School: A graduate of Spring High School in Houston, Texas...Cook was an All-District selection and Texas All-Star while being named Defensive Player of the Year...four-year letter winner who earned Second Team All-State honors as a senior.
