Biography

2024-25:  Appeared in all 12 events and 26 rounds, recording season scoring average of 79.73, just the fifth-player in school history to achieve scoring average under 80...had 14 rounds in the 70's with three top-10 finishes...was second overall at Wildcat Classic April 14-15 posting scores of 77-77 (154)...finished tied for fifth at Nebraska Intercollegiate Invite (October 4-5) shooting 82-75 (157)...fired season-best 36-hole score of 151 (77-74) at Southern Nazarene Invitational March 3-4 and was named NSIC Golfer of the Week March 12th...posted scores of 78-74 (152) at Central Region Spring Preview (April 7-8)...was ninth at the NSIC Championships in Missouri April 25-27 shooting 236 with rounds of 78-81-77...shot 237 at NCAA Central Region Championships with scores of 76-78-83...was repeat selection to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. 

2023-24:  Posted scoring average of 81.32 playing in all 19 rounds and nine tournaments with one top five and two top 10 finishes...four of last five rounds to end season were in the 70's...tied for fifth at Nebraska Intercollegiate Invite (10/6-7/23) at Axtell with rounds of 78-82 (160)...finished in tie for eighth at Saddlebrook/Walsh Spring Kickoff in Florida (3/7-9/24) shooting 54-hole total of 240 (81-79-80)...shot 78-79 (157) at WSC Wildcat Classic (4/15/24) to finish 11th out of 88 players...was 19th out of 60 players at NSIC Championships in Smithville, Mo. shooting 86-78-78 for 242 total...received NSIC Spring All-Academic Team of Excellence honors with 4.00 grade point average...was a repeat selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and voted to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team for a second straight season.

2022-23:  Ranked second on team in scoring average as a freshman at 80.38 playing all 10 events and 21 rounds...had nine scores in the 70's with three top five and five top 10 placings and was voted All-NSIC Second Team...named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team after tied for fifth at the NSIC Championships (April 28-30) in Smithville, Missouri with a 54-hole score of 233 (77-72-84)...even par 72 in second round at NSIC Tournament is best-ever score shot by WSC women's player and tied school record for best round (even par)...placed second at SMSU Spring Challenge (March 9-10) with score of 154 (72-82)...tied for ninth at season-opening Golden Bear Classic (Sept. 19-20) with score of 154 (73-81)...also tied for ninth at Wildcat Classic (April 17-18) shooting 78-74 (162)...seven of 11 spring rounds were in the 70's...named WSC Female Freshman Athlete of the Year and was named to WGCA All-American Scholar Team.

High School:  Graduate of West Des Moines Valley High School in Iowa...four year starter in girls golf...played on a state championship team every year in high school...during senior season, shot 76-80 (156) in Class 4A state tournament and tied for eighth individually to help team win state title...earned All-CIML Central Conference honors and was named to the Des Moines Register All-Iowa Girls Honorable Mention Team...named 2021 Iowa PGA Player of the Year during junior season with 18-hole scoring average of 75.5...named First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference all four years in high school...sophomore season canceled due to COVID-19 and averaged 79.63 during freshman season in 2019.

Personal:  Daughter of James and Sheila Sayre...born February 18, 2004...applied math major with an emphasis in mathematics and a minor in business administration.
