Biography
2015: Appeared in 18 games with eight starts...credited with two shots during the season- vs. Augustana (9/13/15) and at Southwest Minnesota (11/01/15)...one of three Wildcats to receive the NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic With Distinction Award and was a repeat selection to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2014: Saw action in 11 games during the season and was credited with one shot vs. Colorado Christian (9/15/14)...selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
2013:Â Started first seven games of the season at defender until suffering injury that forced her to miss the remainder of the season...did not record any statistics...was one of 14 Wildcat players selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.Â
2012: Started 10 games and appeared in 17 for the 'Cats during freshman season...recorded seven shots with three on goal for a shots on goal percentage of .429...attempted a season high two shots vs. St. CLoud State on 9-29-12.
High School: Graduate of Metea Valley High School in Illinois...was a three year starter and letter winner in soccer and one year starter/letter winner in basketball...she was a Metea Valley captain in both soccer and basketball in 2010, 2011 and 2012...Thayer was also an Upstate Eight Scholar Athlete in soccer and basketball and was Academic All-Conference in soccer and basketball in 2010, 2011 and 2012...her soccer team was Illinois High School Regional champions in 2009 and 2012 and she played for the Fox Valley Strikers Premier Team from 2009-2012.
Personal: Daughter of Scott and Ginger Thayer...born on 5/5/1994...majoring in speech communication,organizational leadership and public relations at Wayne State.
