Biography

2015: Started all 18 games at defender, recording one goal during the season...scored goal vs. MSU Moorhead in 1-1 tie (9/27/15)...had four shots with two shots on goal...received prestigious NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic With Distinction Award given to seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or higher and was named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2014: Saw action in 14 games with 13 starts at defender, scoring one goal on the season...had five shots with two shots on goal and scored at MSU Moorhead (9/28/14)...was also charged with one yellow card vs. Winona State (9/20/14)...was a repeat selection to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2013:  Appeared in 14 games with one start, scoring one goal with seven shots and three shots on goal...credited with goal in 5-2 win over Sioux Falls on 11-3-13...had season-high three shots with one on goal at University of Mary (10-18-13) and had two shots vs. Washburn (9-8-13)...received NSIC Fall All-Academic honors. 

2012: Started one game and appeared in 10 during freshman season with the 'Cats...did not record any stats.

High School: Graduate of North Platte High School...was a four year starter and letter winner in soccer while also excelling in basketball and cross country...earned Class A Honorable Mention honors as a senior, helping team to a 14-4 record and a trip to the Class A State tournament...team was ranked eighth in final Class A state rankings...she was a two-time All Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference selection in basketball and was a standout student in the classroom, earning Academic All-State recognition in three sports...Poppe played her club soccer with the Nebraska Select Team in 2011 and 2012.

Personal: Daughter of Leland and Cathy Poppe (pronounced Pop-E)...born on 5/27/1994...majoring in biology at Wayne State College.
