2025 Outdoor: Closed Wildcat career with All-American honors at NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 23rd) in Pueblo, Colorado...placed fourth in the discus with career-best mark of 171' 9" on last throw in finals...earned All-NSIC honors in two events at NSIC Outdoor Championships in Duluth, Minnesota...was the individual champion in the discus with a top throw of 164' 11" and captured third place in hammer throw at 162' 8" and was named NSIC Women's Field Athlete of the Year...selected NSIC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week May 5th after posting back-to-back marks of 171' 0" in discus at Maverick Open #1 and USD Tune-Up Meets...finished third in discus at Drake Relays (4/23/25) with top mark of 162' 9"...took first in hammer throw at Sioux City Relays (4/11/25) with career-best mark of 170' 2" and was second in the discus at 153' 4"...won the discus at the Wildcat Outdoor Classic (160' 4"), Loper Invite (158' 11") and the Mount Marty Twilight Meet (166' 6")...named Most Valuable Field Athlete at WSC and earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.
2025 Indoor: Recorded career-best toss of 52' 10 3/4" in the weight throw to finish fifth at the WSC Wildcat Open (2/8/25)...was fourth in weight throw at SDSU Indoor Classic (2/14/25) at 52' 7 1/4"...finished 14th in weight throw at NSIC Indoor Championships with toss of 50' 10 1/4"...placed second at season-opening SDSU Holdiay Open (12/6/24) with mark of 52' 5 1/4"...earned NSIC All-Academic Team Honors.
2024 Outdoor: Medaled in two events at NSIC Outdoor Championships...earned All-NSIC honors with third place finish in discus at 151' 6" and had season-best mark of 159' 6" in the hammer throw to place seventh...won the discus at four different meets, starting with season-opening Wildcat Classic at 154' 0"...also took first at Concordia Invite (4/6/24) at 147' 6", Sioux City Relays (4/12/24) with mark of 152' 1" and at Loper Invite (4/19/24) with top throw of 146' 9"...best finish in hammer throw was fourth at 151' 8" at Concordia Invite (4/6/24)...received NSIC Spring All-Academic Team honors.
2024 Indoor: Placed seventh with season-best mark of 51' 4.5" in weight throw at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/16/24)...finished 16th in weight throw at NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 50' 11.5"...was ninth (51' 2.25") in weight throw at Mark Schuck Open (1/26/24)...named to NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2023 Outdoor: National qualifier in discus, placing 20th at NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in Pueblo, Colorado with mark of 136' 5"...threw season-best 161' 10" to place second in discus at Wildcat Classic (3/25/23)...took first place in discus at two meets - 154' 10" at Central Nebraska Challenge (4/1/23) and 154' 2" at Sioux City Relays (4/14/23)...just missed medal in hammer throw at NSIC Outdoor Championships taking ninth with season-best mark of 156' 3"...placed eighth in hammer throw at Sioux City Relays with top mark of 152' 8".
2023 Indoor: Placed eighth in weight throw with season best mark of 51' 8 1/2" at South Dakota Kickoff (1/14/23)...was seventh in discus at SDSU Holiday Open (12/3/22) with mark of 131' 9"...took 18th in weight throw at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/25/23) with mark of 49' 11 1/4".
2022 Outdoor: Posted season-best mark of 148' 1" in discus to finish third at South Dakota Twilight Meet (5/6/22)...took first place in discus at Sioux City Relays (4/9/22) with heave of 141' 7"...had season-best 158' 4" in hammer throw at Prairie Wolf Invite (4/28/22)...season-best mark in shot put was 37' 2 1/4" at Sioux City Relays...at NSIC Track and Field Championships was 11th in the hammer throw (147' 3"), 22nd in shot put (36' 11") and 22nd in discus (124' 1").
2022 Indoor: Competed in seven meets...participated in two events at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships (2/25-26/22), placing 17th in the weight throw with a distance of 47' 11 3/4" and 24th in the shot put with a mark of 37' 10 3/4"...placed third in the discus with a throw of 152' 5" at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi (12/3-4/21)...finished seventh in the weight throw with a 49' 5 1/2" distance at the Lancer Last Chance (2/12/22)...posted a season-best in the weight throw (52' 0 1/2") at the USD Alumni Track & Field Meet (2/5/22)...had a season-best mark in the shot put posting a distance of 38' 5" at the Mark Schuck/Minnesota Open (1/28-29/22).

2021 Indoor: Sat out season as a redshirt.
High School: Graduate of Central Valley High School...started four years in softball and track and field and one season in basketball...was a two-time Class D state runner up in the discus as a freshman and junior and fifth in sophomore season at 120' 11"...also a two-time state qualifier in the shot put...collected Class C All-State honorable mention honors in softball, hitting 10 home runs as a senior, seven during junior season and five as a sophomore.
Personal: Daughter of Scott Young and Paula Stam...born February 19, 2002...majoring in food and nutrition at WSC.
