2013:  Saw action in 17 matches with 30 sets played during sophomore season, recording three kills, eight digs and two set assists...had one kill in matches at Nebraska-Kearney (10-8-13), vs. Peru State (10-16-13) and at Bemidji State (11-2-13)...recorded two digs vs. #9 Indianapolis (9-6-13) and #11 Colorado School of Mines (9-6-13)...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2012: Nakata appeared in four matches for the Wildcats during her first season at Wayne State as a backup outside hitter/defensive specialist...had three digs on the season getting one dig in three separate games.

High School: Graduate of Pullman High School in Washington...was a four year starter in volleyball and track along with a two year starter in basketball...earned First Team All-Great Northern League honors for four years while helping team win Class 2A State Titles in 2009 and 2010...also excels in track and field where she placed second in the high jump and eighth in the 100 meter hurdles at 2009 Class 2A State Track Meet...excels in the classroom earning First Team All-Academic honors four seasons.
