2013:  Appeared in three matches during the season...had two kills in two attacks vs. Mary on 9-28-13 and had two kills with two digs vs. Chadron State (9-13-13)...also played against Peru State on 10-16-13...averaged 1.00 kills and 0.50 digs per set in three matches played.

High School: Graduate of Papillion LaVista South High School...helped the Titans to three straight Class A State Championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and a Class A State runner-up finish in 2009...was the team leader in blocks the last two seasons and recorded 55 blocks with 170 kills this season...recorded an impressive 154-6 record during her high school career and played on two unbeaten state championship teams while also being ranked #1 by Max Preps/Prep Volleyball...as a junior, Kurtz received honorable mention Class A All-State honors...selected to play in Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Volleyball match on 7/23/13 for the Blue Team.
