    Volunteer Assistant Coach - Cross Country
            Bailee Krings is in her second season (2025) as a volunteer assistant coach for Wayne State cross country.  She brings a decade of combined Division I and III experience to the Wildcats as an athlete and coach.
            Krings served as head cross country and assistant track and field coach at Pacific University in Oregon (NCAA Division III) for six years.  During her time at Pacific, she coached four NCAA Division III national qualifiers and Academic All-Americans, eight West All-Region honorees and six All-Northwest Conference First Team selections in cross country.  Krings coached Pacific University's women's team to a pair of second place Northwest Conference Championship finishes in 2019 and 2021. 
            A native of Overland Park, Kansas, Krings attended Drake University where she was a Division I cross country and track and field athlete.  She served as a team captain and was named to the Missouri Valley All-Conference Team in track and field as a senior finishing third in the 3,000-meter run at the 2018 MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
            Krings earned her bachelor's degree from Drake with a double major in public relations and creative writing.  She resides in Norfolk with her husband Nick and six-month-old son Henry.
