John Schladweiler is in his second season (2025-26) as a graduate assistant in the Wayne State sports information office, bringing six years of experience to the Wildcat staff.
           Prior to arriving in Wayne, Schladweiler worked one year as a graduate assistant in sports information at Dakota Wesleyan University where he was the main contact for 11 teams. He worked in all phases of sports information at DWU including inputting and spotting stats, live broadcast engineer, record keeping and other duties.
           Schladweiler also worked five years as student game-day operations manager and also served as intramural coordinator at the University of Montana Western. He worked game-day statistics, game-day operations and set-up along with website management, live-stream and broadcasting live events and maintaining sport-specific historical records.
           Schladweiler earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana Western in 2023 majoring in business administration and will pursue a master's degree at Wayne State in organizational/sport management.
