Nick Geffre is in his second year (2025-26) as a graduate assistant coach with Wayne State College baseball.
Geffre comes to Wayne State after graduating from Dakota State in December, 2023 with a bachelor's degree in K-12 Physical Education.
A native of Watertown, South Dakota Geffre played baseball for two seasons at Dakota State after starting his collegiate career as a football player at Northern State from 2019-20.
Geffre has coached baseball in Watertown for five years, including the last three seasons as American Legion Seniors coach after starting his career coaching 13-year-olds and 15-16 year olds for one season each.
At Watertown High School, Geffre was a three-year starter in football and served as team captain for the Arrows where he earned All-ESD Conference honors to go with All-State and Argus Leader Elite 45 honorable mention honors.
Geffre is pursuing a master's degree at Wayne State College in Sport/Recreation Management and resides in Wayne with his wife Miakken.
