Wayne State had three players record double figures in kills as the Wildcats swept Northern State in Northern Sun Conference volleyball Saturday in Wayne.  Scores of the match were 30-24, 30-24 and 30-27. 

Junior Brittany Van Beek had 11 kills to lead Wayne State in hitting followed by Emily Schroeder and Jennifer Hefner with 10 kills apiece.  Schroeder also finished with 17 digs and 10 blocks. Erin Dostal handed out 36 set assists and Laura Dolezal recorded 37 digs for the Wildcats.  WSC hit .076 for the match while holding Northern State to .061.

Wayne State is now 9-5 overall and 2-1 in the NSIC while dropping Northern State to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in the league.  The Wildcats play three road conference matches next weekend, starting Friday night at #3 Concordia-St. Paul.
