#24 Wayne State 3 MSU Moorhead 2

The 24th-ranked Wayne State College volleyball team rallied from a two-game deficit to win 3-2 at MSU Moorhead in Northern Sun Conference volleyball played in Moorhead, Minnesota Saturday.  Scores of the match were 23-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-20 and 15-9.  With the win, WSC moves to 16-3 overall and 6-3 in the NSIC while the host Dragons fall to 9-12 overall and 3-6 in league play.

For the second straight night, the Wildcats were led by the duo of Jennifer Hefner and Mindy Moody as the tandem combined for 37 kills in the come-from-behind win.  Hefner recorded 20 kills while hitting .400 for the match while Moody knocked down a season-high 17 kills with just one hitting error to finish the match with an impressive .571 hitting percentage.  Lea Hartigan and Brittany Van Beek also reached double digits in kills with 11 and 10 respectively.

Senior libero Meredy Dubbs notched a match-high 21 digs followed by Tali Fredrickson with 14 and Jenna Jansen's 10.  Jansen was also credited with 60 set assists in the win.

The Wildcats next action will be Wednesday, October 15 when Wayne State hosts Peru State College in a 7:00 p.m. game at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.
