The host Wolves are now 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the NSIC while WSC falls to 1-5-1 and 0-4 in league play.

Wayne State held a 15-12 advantage in shots over Northern State, including 6-5 in shots on goal. Both teams had five corner kicks while WSC was called for nine fouls to six for Northern State.
Kelsea Lambert led WSC offensively with five shots followed by Hernandez with two, including her first goal of the season. Freshman goalkeeper
Margaret Harma played the entire game in goal for the Wildcats and faced 12 shots with three saves and two goals allowed.
