After a one-week hiatus, the Wayne State College women's basketball team is back in the USA Today Sports/WBCA Division II Top 25 Women's Basketball Coaches Poll tied for 23
rd. The Wildcats received 102 points in voting conducted by various Division II head coaches from across the country in the poll released Tuesday afternoon.
Wayne State has won eight straight games and is now 17-3 overall and first place in the NSIC South with an 11-3 league mark following home wins last weekend over Upper Iowa (69-38) and Winona State (64-44). The Wildcats are on the road this weekend at Minot State Friday evening at 6 p.m. and the University of Mary Saturday at 4 p.m.
