Kylah vanDonkersgoed of Wayne State College was named to the 2025-26 Northern Sun Conference All-NSIC Women's Basketball Team announced Thursday morning by the league office in Burnsville, Minnesota receiving Second Team honors.
           vanDonkersgoed, a 6-1 senior forward from Sioux Falls, S.D. (Sioux Falls Christian HS), led Wayne State in scoring this season at 13.1 points per game to go with 5.8 rebounds a contest. While starting all 22 NSIC games, she accounted for 14.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in league play with two games of 30 or more points and two others over 25.
           Scoring double figures in 17 games this season, vanDonkersgoed had three games in the month of January with 29 or more points. She had a career-best 33 points in a 68-51 win at MSU Moorhead January 17
th and eight days earlier produced 31 points on 12-17 shooting in a 72-61 home win over Northern State. She also had 29 points January 23
rd in a 91-87 road loss at UMary.
           vanDonkersgoed also had two double-doubles this season – 18 points and 14 rebounds at Augustana (1/3/26) and 19 points with 12 rebounds in a 55-48 home win over Jamestown January 10
th.
           vanDonkersgoed led the team in minutes played (29.6 per game) and tied for eighth in the NSIC with 24 blocked shots this season.
           Wayne State ended the season at 10-18 overall and 5-17 in Northern Sun Conference play.Â
