            #8 Wayne State needed a career-high 30 kills from senior
Alyssa Frauendorfer to rally for a 22-25, 25-7, 22-25, 25-17, 15-10 Northern Sun Conference volleyball win at Bemidji State Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats move to 19-6 overall and 10-6 in the NSIC while Bemidji State falls to 7-18 and 3-13 in league play.
            The first set saw 15 ties and eight lead changes between the two clubs before Bemidji State finished with a 25-22 set win.Â
            Wayne State stormed back in the second set for a 25-7 win as the 'Cats held BSU to just three kills and eight errors for a -.167 attack percentage to even the match.
            The host Beavers regained the momentum in the third set with 12 kills and just one attack errors as Bemidji State outlasted the Wildcats 25-22 to lead the match 2-1.
            Wayne State forced eight BSU attack errors in the fourth set while recording 13 kills as the 'Cats forced a fifth set with a 25-17 win.
            The Wildcats did not make an attack error in the fifth set with nine kills on 25 attempts as WSC prevailed 15-10 to rally for the 3-2 match win.
            Wayne State hit .255 in the match with 62 kills and 20 errors on 165 attacks while Bemidji State was .142 with 48 kills and 25 errors on 162 attacks. WSC held an 80-75 edge in digs over the Beavers and out-blocked BSU 9-4. The Wildcats recorded seven service aces in the win and had seven errors while BSU had five aces and 12 service errors.
            Frauendorfer led Wayne State with her career-high 30 kills in the win, posting a stellar .583 attack percentage with just two errors on 48 attempts. Senior
Michaela Mestl added 14 kills and had a season-high 32 digs. Freshman libero
Haley Kauth had 18 digs and four service aces while sophomore setter
Megan Gebhardt handed out 54 assists. Freshman
Tarrin Beller added 10 digs and three blocks.
           The Wildcats will be on the road again next weekend visiting Minot State Friday evening at 7 p.m. and the University of Mary Saturday in a 4 p.m. contest.
