Minot State scored the lone goal of the contest 12:25 into the game as the host Beavers edged Wayne State 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Northern Sun Conference women's soccer played at Herb Parker Stadium in Minot, North Dakota. MISU is now 7-2-4 and 7-1-2 in the NSIC following the win as WSC drops to 2-7-4 and 2-5-3 in the league.
Mila Robichon scored the only goal of the game with an assist by Anabel Noches at the 12:25 mark of the first half.
Wayne State held a 12-8 edge in shots in the first half with six shots on goal to just two for the host Beavers.
The second half was reversed in shots on goal as Minot State held a 10-7 advantage in shots.
For the contest, WSC had one more shot than Minot State 19-18. The Wildcats held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks while Minot State had one more foul than the Wildcats 9-8.

Paige Pemberton had three shots on goal for Wayne State followed by
Annika Syvrud,
Riann Daas,
Alyssa Ferin,
Reagan Allen and
Skylar Stueckrath with one apiece.
Junior goalkeeper
Hayden Wallace suffered the loss despite recording eight saves while allowing just one goal.
Wayne State will be at home next weekend hosting Minnesota Duluth Friday at 3 p.m. and St. Cloud State Sunday in a 1 p.m. contest.
