The Wildcats opened the scoring at the 8:06 mark of the first half when sophomore forward Reagan Allen scored with an assist by Paige Pemberton putting WSC in front 1-0.
Minot State wasted little time in tying the score as the Beavers scored 1:25 later as Yossi Villagrana found the back of the net to even the match at 1-1.
The Beavers took the lead in the 25th minute when Anabel Noches scored in front of the net off an assist from Leilany Ponce for a 2-1 Minot State lead at intermission.
The score stayed 2-1 until 16 minutes left in the contest when senior midfielder Annika Syrud scored off a pass from Morgan Rhodes to make the score 2-2.
