After UIU scored one run in the sixth to make the score 5-4, both teams scored single runs in the seventh for a 6-5 Wildcat lead.  Braden Cannon with an RBI single provided the run in the seventh.
WSC scored another run in the eighth and added five insurance runs in the ninth for the 12-5 win.  The 'Cats had six hits in the inning, highlighted by a two-run blast from Wells.  Nate Cunningham, Colin Lynam and Carter Thomas each added run scoring singles in the inning.
