Box Score Concordia-St. Paul scored three second half goals to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit as the host Golden Bears downed Wayne State College 3-1 Sunday afternoon in a Northern Sun Conference women's soccer match played at Sea Foam Stadium in St. Paul, Minnesota. CSP now stands at 6-3-3 overall and 4-3-1 in the NSIC while WSC drops to 4-4-3 on the season and 3-2-2 in league play.
Wayne State scored first in the contest as junior midfielder
Alaina Sorensen recorded her team-leading fourth goal of the season at the 30:40 mark to put the Wildcats in front 1-0.
The score stayed 1-0 until the host Golden Bears produced three goals in a span of 20 minutes to take control of the contest.
The Golden Bears evened the score at 1-1 with a goal in the 54
th minute. Seven minutes later Concordia-St. Paul took the lead for good with a goal at the 61:31 mark and added an insurance goal in the 77
th minute for a 3-1 lead to close out the scoring in the contest.
Sorensen's fourth goal of the season led the Wildcats in the contest. WSC also saw

Maia Vacks record shots on goal.
Concordia-St. Paul held a 14-6 advantage in shots and 9-5 in shots on goal. The Golden Bears had a 10-2 edge in corner kicks and were called for nine fouls to just two on Wayne State.

Sidney Truman accounted for five saves in the contest while allowing three goals.
Wayne State closes out their four-game NSIC road trip Friday afternoon with a 4 p.m. contest at Augustana.
