Morgan Mancuso and senior midfielder
Nevaeh James represent Wayne State College on the 2025 Northern Sun Conference All-Conference Women's Soccer announced by the league office in Burnsville, Minnesota Thursday morning. Both Wildcats were named All-NSIC Second Team.
Mancuso, a 5-7 forward from Omaha (Roncalli Catholic HS), led Wayne State in scoring this season with 13 points on six goals and one assist appearing in all 18 games with 17 starts. She topped the Wildcats in shots (39) and shots on goal (16) while recording one game-winning goal. Mancuso scored two goals at Minot State (10/12/25) and had the game-winning goal in a 4-0 win at MSU Moorhead (9/21/25). She also scored goals vs. Concordia-St. Paul (10/3/25) and Northern State (10/24/25) and converted a penalty kick goal at #2 Minnesota State (11/2/25).
James, a 5-4 midfielder from Sioux City, Iowa (East HS), was one of just three players to start all 18 games this season recording one goal and one assist for three points. She had a season-high two shots on goal and scored her goal at #2 Minnesota State on November 2
nd and was credited with an assist in Wayne State's 4-0 win at MSU Moorhead on September 21
st. James ranked fourth on the Wildcat team in minutes played with 1,219 and finished the year with seven shots and four on goal.
Wayne State finished the 2025 season with records of 6-8-4 overall and placed 11
th in the Northern Sun Conference with a 5-8-2 league record.
