Freshman
Allie Czapla was the top Wayne State runner at the NCAA Central Region Women's Cross Country Championships held in Joplin, Missouri Saturday morning at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.
           Augustana was the team champion with 82 points followed by Pittsburg State in second at 110. University of Mary (116), Winona State (130) and Rogers State of Oklahoma at 137 rounded out the top five teams. Wayne State was 29th in the team standings with 837 points.
           Czapla, a freshman from Blair, was the top Wildcat finisher on the 6,000-meter course with a time of 24:16.13 that was good for 150
th place overall. Junior
Sydney Escritt was next in 160
th place at 24:36.66 with freshman
Kaitlyn Bloomenrader in 167
th place in a time of 24:43.38.
           Other Wildcat finishers were
