The Wayne State College women's cross country team was recognized Thursday afternoon with the USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association) All-Academic Team Award by the coaches' association office in New Orleans, Louisiana.  It's the 12^th time in the last 13 years that the Wildcat program has collected All-Academic Team honors.
            The Wayne State women's cross country team recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.36 during the 2025 fall semester and is one of nine Northern Sun Conference schools to earn the award.  Teams must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet to be named for the honor.
