Matt Noll named All-NSIC Second Team

            Wayne State College sophomore forward has been voted to the 2025-26 NSIC All-Conference Men's Basketball Team released Thursday morning by the league office in Burnsville, Minnesota, receiving All-NSIC Second Team honors for a second straight season.
            Noll, a 6-7 forward from Sioux City, Iowa (Bishop Heelan Catholic HS), averaged a team-high 13.7 points along with 5.3 rebounds per game this season.  He scored double figures in 23 of 28 games played including 15 of his last 16 contests.  Noll tied for ninth in the NSIC in blocked shots per game (0.8), was 10th in minutes played (32.5) and 11th in field goal percentage (.466) while leading the team in assists with 69.
            He scored a career-high 23 points with six assists and six rebounds at Southwest Minnesota State (12/625) and had three double-doubles this season.  Noll accounted for 17 points and 11 rebounds vs. Augustana (11/25/25), had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a home win (79-62) over Minnesota Crookston January 21st and accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds vs. NSIC regular season champion St. Cloud State February 12th.
            In NSIC games, Noll averaged 13.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest shooting 47.8 percent from the field while averaging 2.8 assists per game.
            Wayne State finished the 2025-26 season at 15-14 overall – a sixth straight winning season – and an 11-11 record in Northern Sun Conference play.
