            Senior outside hitter Tali Fredrickson recorded her sixth double-double of the season Friday evening with 10 kills and 13 digs to lead the 13^th-ranked Wildcats in a 3-0 Northern Sun Conference volleyball sweep over Northern State at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.  Scores of the match were 25-16, 25-23 and 25-19, giving Wayne State a 9-3 overall record and 2-1 league mark while Northern State falls to 6-5 and 1-3 in the NSIC.
            Wayne State set the tone in the first set by forcing Northern State into 10 attack errors as the Wildcats won the opener 25-16.  The second set saw the Wildcats have to rally from a 15-11 deficit as WSC edged the Wolves 25-23.  The third set saw WSC pull away late in the set for a 25-19 win to sweep the match.
            Senior middle hitter Mindy Moody had a team-high 11 kills and hit .476 in the match with just one attack error to go along with three blocks.  Fredrickson contributed her sixth double-double of the season (10 kills, 13 digs) while Cori Hobbs accounted for nine kills and a team best five blocks.
            Senior libero Leigh Connot had 27 digs while sophomore setter Tatum Wroblewski handed out 41 set assists with 15 digs.  Senior defensive specialist Nicole Brungardt added 14 digs in the win.  
            Wayne State will be at home Saturday afternoon hosting the University of Mary in a 3:00 p.m. contest at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.
