Box Score Colorado Christian 2 Wayne State 1 Colorado Christian scored two goals in the final 10 minutes, including the game winner with just over 1:30 to play, giving the visiting Cougars a 2-1 victory over Wayne State College in non-conference women's soccer played Monday afternoon at the WSC Soccer Complex. CCU improves to 3-0-1 while WSC drops to 1-2-1.

McKenna Adams picked up a loose ball off of a CCU deflection and scored in front of the net for a 1-0 Wildcat lead.
The scored stayed that way until the 80
th minute, when Colorado Christian began their rally as Meghan Troupe scored at the 80:29 mark to even the score at 1-1. With just over 1:30 remaining, Cora Aversano booted a 20 yard, wind aided, shot over the head of freshman Wildcat goal keeper
Margaret Harma that gave the Cougars the surprising go-ahead and game winning goal.
Both teams had nine shots in the contest to go along with five corner kicks for both teams. WSC was called for 12 fouls compared to just eight called on Colorado Christian.
Senior forward
McKenna Adams led Wayne State offensively by scoring a goal on a team high four shots.
Kelsea Lambert also had one shot on goal. Sophomore
Kylie Comba was in goal for the first half and did not allow a goal while facing three shots. Freshman
Margaret Harma played the second half and was credited with three saves while allowing two goals.
Wayne State will be at home this weekend in Northern Sun Conference play facing Winona State Saturday at 11 a.m. and Upper Iowa Sunday at 1 p.m.
